Core instructor — Drawing foundations
This instructor leads the drawing track that underpins most other courses. Sessions begin with short warm-ups that diagnose common issues—wobbly line, inconsistent angles, and proportion drift—then move into a single skill focus for the week.
Critique uses a consistent set of terms: measurement points, value families, edge hierarchy, and focal emphasis. The goal is to make feedback reusable between sessions, whether the class meets in Rotterdam or online anywhere in the Netherlands.
Students often leave with a simple checklist that is intentionally unglamorous: thumbnail first, value plan second, then a controlled finish. That process is what keeps sketches from collapsing at the last hour.
